CRAZY MAY DAYS

Well, it is here - the end of the school year. I couldn't be more excited to have it all over with. I am sure I will be thrilled to have them go back once we hit the beginning of August, but I can't WAIT for school to be done. I am counting the days right along with my kids. Today - I woke Kenzie up and said - Only 16 more days.

Upcoming events:
1) Orchestra Concert
2) Regards to Broadway Program
3) Father's & Sons
4) Kindergarten Graduation
5) Field Day

Just to name a few. I am will be sure and blog all these special moments for you - if I remember my camera that is. :0)

The question of the day - Do you miss being in school? And what do you miss about it?

Every great once in awhile when I am passing Mt. View I miss the fun activites. The football games, flirting with the boys, getting dressed up for dances. I had a great social time in high school...oh and I was in shape! That was the best!

No Way do I miss school. We talked about our nightmare dreams about being late or not attending a class and getting graded...freaky!!! The only thing that I can think of that I really miss was lunch time (crazy sub), we had some great lunch time memories oh ya and I ate whatever I wanted...those were the days.

I miss school a lot. I thought I had stress then... boy was I wrong. I just wish I would have enjoyed it more!

I don't think I should answer this question...it is just going to solitify the fact that I am a major dork.

I miss my classes! I had some of the best teachers and loved almost everyone of my classes except AP Biology. Although, it was about the only AP class that you didn't have to crack a book and still get an A. (An A in the class and a 2 on the AP exam will tell you how bad that class was.) But I digress...I miss everything about cross country - even the Monday's at Usery pass. I take that back...I don't miss Coach Felix.

I miss school as well. Or maybe I miss those first day jitters. There is something about starting a new class...the excitement of learning something new. Getting all new stuff together, opening your school book for the first time...I know it sounds lame, but it's a whole new adventure...I miss that a lot.

I miss school too. I miss some of my teachers. I miss the feeling of something new and exciting every single day - not the same old same old that I am experiencing now in the "working world". I miss socializing and all of the fun activities that were always going on. Orchestra concerts, auditions, chorus concerts, auditions, football games (not to watch the games, but to cheer at them), dances and the fun lunches with friends. I don't miss the surprise tests and having a locker on the very top (kind of hard when you're short).
